In these cases, depending on the layer of the cornea affected, one treatment or another will be chosen. The most common eye diseases that can affect the cornea and require a transplant are usually degenerative (keratoconus) or dystrophic (Fuchs disease) corneal pathologies, corneal ulcers or keratitis
